my very first blog (let's keep it simple!)

introduction: (checks google on how to properly write a blog - grammar: check, spelling: check......) UHHH...not really. I am not a writer. Nor I plan to be one. I would just like to type away random thoughts, please. Thank you!

I am a mother of an adorable 6 year old kid. Oops...I mean a "first grader" as he is so proud of being in grade school. (LOL!) and a wife to a goofy husband who for sure will roll his eyes at me when I tell him that I started a blog. (but fully aware that he read my blogs when I am not looking and is my very first anonymous "liker" on every post.) HA!

I am a normal person - with a normal 9-5 job. Like a good percent of people in the world - working to pay bills and sleeps late at night on a Friday or Saturday morning not because we are out partying the night away - but punching numbers on those dollar store calculators and instead budgeting our night away (with a glass of boxed wine, of course.) Sounds familiar right? The most exciting part is when you know that you have some $$$ left - you go rush to the nearest outlet mall, maybe Marshall's or TJ Maxx and grabbing those nice pair of shoes on sale or a red tag purse and flaunting those over the weekend. Sounds about right...

When chores are done and my son...I mean my "first grader" goes to bed - I grab my phone and indulge in Instagram and Pinterest. (yup, not a big fan of Facebook - too crowded!) I follow Instagram celebs like - Rach Parcell, That's Heart, BeautyBitten...and am always mesmerized on how they dress, their fashion, style, home decorations/decorating etc. Then I wonder, if they can do it - I can too! (hey, never too old and never too late to dream...so dream away!) Both my husband and my son, and of course my bestfriends tell me that I make nice stuff, that I am crafty - so why not share them with you all out there as well.

So here I am, starting small, blogging away - hey, you'll never know unless you try. (insert wink face here.)
