new year INTENTIONS

so as we all are entering the first few days of the new year, you'll see tons of status posts on Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat and Instagram about your friends or people's new year resolutions, NEW YEAR, NEW YOU! - but in reality, until when will those resolutions take into effect? don't get me wrong, I know for a fact that there are some out there that (hands down) have that will power to carry on their resolutions until the following year. AMAZING!

top resolution or promises that we tend to have are: eat healthy, work out and save money.

but there are a few of US folks that have lesser will power & we tend to forget our resolutions & it's not a horrific thing - I mean, life happens. We get busy, so much busy & we have no time to cook a healthy meal, we (kindda) have no choice but to do a quick drive thru & voila! dinner is served! or, an exhausting day at work will tend to prevent you from heading to the gym to work out, or we tell ourselves that we will be saving and putting aside most of our paychecks & just keep on saving, but unfortunately, sometimes it does not go according to plan.

BUT THERE IS A LOOP HOLE. and it is called INTENTIONS!

intentions vs resolutions

everyone knows what a resolution is, it seems to be hard core & a MUST, & if you don't follow through, for some reason, it will make you feel like you've failed (at least this year) & by mid February, when you don't follow through your resolutions, a mentality of "screw it!" will follow & everything crumbles. however, INTENTIONS are redefined goals, you will still have the same "resolutions" but on a lighter scale. it's like, resolutions are a MUST or you fail; intentions are REQUESTS with a "pretty please"! - psychologically you tend to do the things that we're asked with "manners" like please, instead of you HAVE to, like..NOW!

so, I just switched all my resolutions to intentions & it gets exciting, it pushes you to do your good intentions but this time, with a hug & a smile.

so, there you go - be nice to yourself & set your good intentions!
