make ups and all things PINK

hello there all you mommies and ladies that are sooo into make up and all things...well not necessarily has to be PINK but -- all things...cute? PINK is CUTE!

so, yesterday - Friday - I just realized that I was so anxious to leave work (not just because yesterday was pay day...) but because I was thinking of heading to the nearest Target and walk around the beauty aisle.

**...as you walk around aimlessly, white bright lights were blinding my delicate eyes - colors, colors everywhere...then you realize you are talking to yourself.....** ---> to see if this foundation is actually my shade.

(insert LOL here!)

I indulged on a $2 lipstick from ELF cosmetics and I am the happiest girl at that moment. I have 5 different shades of lippy for only $10! Awesome right? I can play with my looks and make up without really feeling heavy with the shopping guilt, and I still have some $$$ left on my skin tight budget.

As a mom - sometimes you do feel the guilt of spending money on make up, on a $30 mascara or a $25 nude lippy that will really probably not stay on after you had 2-3 cups of coffee to just get you started, and I always tell myself after picking up a pricey piece of eyeliner - "Well, for this price, I could've bought my son maybe 2 cute shirts or I could've bought him 5 of those rubber dinosaur toys, $3 a piece. So I end up walking back and returning what's already in my hand. (and go back to my powder foundation and a Chapstick (preferably cherry - to at least add SOME color) - my hubby does LOVE is though when I DO NOT wear make up and he loves that natural glow...(but with all seriousness - NOT everyone can achieve that natural glow - saying "i woke up like this" {insert rolling eyes here})

So once in a while, I love to stir things up.
