It has been quite a while since I last posted, been a very hectic few days for the fam. Work - school - house work - seasonal home cleaning - an work again: little over time here and there since the holidays are fast approaching! (and the Christmas shopping list are getting longer and longer) - small party hosting - cooking, baking, baking and more baking!

Thanksgiving has passed (geez, that was quick! what happened to the long weekend?) and things are slowing down a little bit - until in about 2 weeks where the FUN craziness starts all over again in preparation for the long awaited HOLIDAY season:
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR!!
But what makes the Holiday season special, are NOT the days off from work or the vacation time you filed months ago, or visiting the malls almost everyday to shop for Christmas present, but rather the treasured TIME spent with your close friends and famILY!
Have the kids help wrap presents, have them help pick out a nice Christmas ornament! Have the significant other help with decorating and planning! Although those seem to be all errands and housework, they are still quality time you spend with family.
As you feel the holiday season around the corner, and as much as you love the idea of a vacation and new things, let us NOT forget the true meaning of Christmas.
